VISA APPROVAL LETTER (VAL)
•Student Pass is issued after a student enters Malaysia using their Single-Entry Visa (SEV) / Visa On Arrival (VOA), for countries with no Malaysia Embassy – refer Ministry of Foreign Affairs
•Student Pass application must be done through EMGS website and all required documents must be submitted to the IIUM Visa Unit before the expiry of Single-Entry Visa / Visa On Arrival (within 30 days or up to 90 days for several countries)
•Upon entering Malaysia, students will receive a stamp of “SP Refer” from the Immigration’s Checkpoint noting that Student Pass Application process shall take place upon entry.
•Students are to report to the IIUM VISA UNIT of their arrival with submission of required documents for new application (IM14U) :
1.SUBMISSION BY STUDENT
a)Copy of Detail Page
b)Copy of Entry Stamp Page with E-Visa (if any)
c)RM10.00 proof of payment for Personal Bond stamping to IIUM Operating Account (Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad)
2.ACQUIRED BY VISA UNIT
a)Medical Report (students are required to do Medical Check Up at IIUM Health facilities)
b)Insurance Cover Note (Takaful Coverage for International Students of IIUM)
